Lame corruption fight

Yinka Oyewumi, Ikeja, Lagos State, +23480330113: Recently a US firm (Parker Drilling Service) was fined $11.76m for bribing Nigeria officials. Siemens and Hallibuton were fined lots of money in the US and Europe with officials jailed for bribes paid in Nigeria. I am at a loss why nobody in Nigeria has been implicated for receiving the bribe money or is the money paid to ghost Nigerian officials? I am not sure the government of President Goodluck Jonathan is serious about its touted anti-corruption crusade. If we are, we should fish out the elements tarnishing our image. Anything other than that, the President and the Finance Minister will continue to stammer on the international news agencies like CNN anytime corruption question is raised like Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala did on Amanpour Life last week. Let the President prove he is not corrupt, let him fish out the receivers of these bribe monies and make them face justice as done in other serious countries.
The country cannot continue to celebrate corruption and expect to be amongst the most developed economies in the world.
